why choose us

Nothing spells success like hard work and perseverance, right? That and working with your neighbors and giving back to your community. During the "season" we try to use as many local products that we can- Local Farm fresh strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, zucchini, tomatoes,  peaches, apples and other vegetables as needed.  After being a part of the Mills River Farmers' Market for 6 seasons, Mara has become close with our "neighbors" and feel the importance of continuing to support them. Helping them spread the love that they put into their product.

George went on to be the Executive chef at The Esmeralda Inn and at Etowah Valley Country Club.  After many years of producing wedding cakes and farmers market vending out of another professional kitchen they decided to open the storefront. And so here we are and the story goes on....
